Better visibility on COUNTER data status

To prevent attempts to download reports before they are available, a notification now appears when the latest month’s COUNTER usage data has not yet been released. COUNTER data is typically published 5–15 days after the end of each month, and the notification is shown in both the COUNTER API and the Librarian Portal download form.

Help ensure user requests work better for your library

Understanding real user demand can strengthen collection decisions and help prioritise resources more effectively. We’re exploring a feature that would let users request books or journals directly when access is denied, but only if it genuinely supports library workflows.

Your insights will help shape how requests are delivered, how they fit into existing processes, and how they can provide meaningful evidence for decision‑making.

File names for downloads on the MARC page have been revised to improve identification and consistency. This update affects only the file names; the MARC record content remains unchanged.
